Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst – Data Migration to support a major transformation program within the insurance sector. You will bridge business and IT by analyzing migration requirements, translating them into functional solutions, and ensuring high-quality data migration from source to target systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data migration requirements and assess their impact on systems and business processes.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, data mappings, and transformation rules.
  • Perform SQL-based data analysis and validate migration results.
  • Identify data quality issues and support reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.
  • Facilitate workshops and challenge proposed solutions to achieve the best outcome.
  • Support functional testing, migration validation, and defect analysis.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and data-related issues throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Ensure the quality of analysis, mappings, and migration deliverables.

Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst.
  • Proven experience with data migration or system integration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and data validation.
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work independently, take ownership, and proactively drive solutions.
  • Comfortable working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with large-scale transformation programs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes or data migration tools is a plus.
