Our client in the banking sector is lookinga Business Analyst with expertise in EMIR and MiFID regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee delegated or outsourced regulatory reporting activities (e.g., EMIR, MiFID).
• Monitor daily reporting flows to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Conduct periodic reconciliations between internal systems and trade repositories.
• Identify potential risks or anomalies in regulatory reporting and data flows.
• Raise alerts, track incidents, and escalate issues to Compliance, Risk, or relevant stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and process insights.
• Contribute to the enhancement of oversight controls, reporting governance frameworks, and workflows.
• Take ownership of regulatory reporting processes, ensuring they are well-defined, documented, and consistently followed.
• Stay informed on regulatory developments and assess their risk implications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define, refine, and challenge operational processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
