Senior Functional ICT Analyst

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Functional ICT Analyst to contribute to the stability, efficiency, and evolution of reporting applications in the financial services industry. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into functional solutions and ensuring optimal application performance. Your expertise in iSeries environments and financial systems will be key to maintaining and enhancing the ICT infrastructure that supports critical reporting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements, translating them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- System Enhancements: Design and document iSeries application improvements, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Guidance on Integration: Provide functional and technical direction to integrate new services seamlessly into existing systems.
- System Configuration and Customization: Oversee the configuration, customization, and ongoing improvement of iSeries applications, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.
- Testing and Validation: Facilitate functional testing processes to ensure a smooth and effective deployment of new functionalities and updates.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is an asset.
- At least 7 years in ICT, including hands-on experience in an iSeries (AS/400) environment.
- Strong functional analysis skills within financial applications, along with proficiency in RPG, CL, SQL, and DB2 specific to iSeries.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of SAFe or other agile methodologies.
