In order to expand our team, DynaFin Consulting is currently seeking a motivated Process Engineer / Tax - Compliance Expert with experience in the investment world and tax compliance to support a banking client in managing tax-related projects within an Agile framework.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tax compliance topics/projects within the investment domain.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to detail solutions and build business cases.
- Conduct impact analyses, refine business, regulatory, and legal requirements related to tax compliance.
- Design and improve the tax compliance journey for the bank’s clients, ensuring alignment with market trends and regulatory changes.
- Work closely with the IT development teams to ensure the availability and accuracy of all necessary information.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the Tribe.
- Regularly report on the status of tax-related features at various levels within the Tribe.
- Lead and support changes within the Tribe and collaborate closely with colleagues from different squads.
- Collect, understand, and challenge the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Profile
- Master's degree in finance/economics/MBA.
- At least 5 years of experience in investment products and tax compliance within the banking sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and develop business cases in relation to tax topics.
- Demonstrated success in leading projects independently with a proactive approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly communicate, present, and collaborate at different organizational levels.
- Prior involvement in tax review projects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a bonus.
- A team player who endorses the values of Scrum: focus, openness, commitment, respect, and courage.
- Languages: Fluent in NL,FR,ENG.
- Soft Skills: Enthusiastic, motivated, excellent communicator, autonomous, analytical mind, time management skills, team spirit, proactive, customer-oriented.
