Roles & Responsibilities

As a member of the depositary team, you will be directly hired by our client on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring cash flows and safekeeping activities for UCITS and AIFs domiciled in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze daily fund data to perform oversight functions and cash flow monitoring, promptly investigating potential issues and escalating them as necessary.
  • Oversee outsourced custody, settlement, and network management activities.
  • Conduct initial and periodic due diligence on the processes and procedures of key stakeholders, summarizing your findings in detailed reports and presenting them to management and clients.
  • Actively participate in company-wide projects aimed at enhancing the client's architectural and process flows.

Profile

Your Profile: 

  • You bring 3 to 8 years of depositary experience, ideally with both UCITS and AIFs.
  • You have a strong interest in the fund industry and enjoy engaging in projects.
  • You are knowledgeable about CSSF Circulars 16/644 and 18/697 and proficient in the analysis of legal texts (legislation, regulation, prospectuses, etc.).
  • You are skilled at interpreting processes and procedures to identify risks.
  • You have a good command of Excel and preferably Business Objects.
  • You are fluent in English, which will be the primary language for formal communications, and adept at writing and explaining reports.
