What Our SWIFT Service Bureau Can Do for Your Financial Institution

Our SWIFT experts specialize in a wide range of issues to meet the unique needs of banks and financial organizations. Find out more about the areas where our SWIFT network consultants can offer personalized support.

ISO 20022 Migration

SWIFT is replacing the old MT ISO 15022 format for payments and reporting with the MX ISO 20022 format, which is richer, better structured, more scalable, and facilitates automated message processing and reconciliation.

Each market infrastructure (Target 2, Euro 1, CHAPS, RIX, CHATS, etc.) has defined its service name and standards, as well as its migration planning.

Protection Against Cyber-Attacks

In an environment of increasingly frequent and impactful cyber-attacks targeted at the financial sector, SWIFT launched the Customer Security Programme (CSP) in 2016 to protect the SWIFT network for banks and its community of users.

All financial institutions accessing the SWIFT banking network must comply with the obligations of this program and declare their compliance in self-attestations that are then shared between counterparties via the dedicated KYC Security Attestation portal.

Our 360° Approach

DynaFin leverages the experience and skills of its experts to offer our clients 360° SWIFT outsourcing services.

Our SWIFT infrastructure specialists manage migration programs for major financial market players. We also offer our SWIFT network expertise in terms of impact analysis and SWIFT strategy for migration, including translation and routing aspects.

SWIFT Data Exploitation and its Challenges

Data exchanged via the SWIFT messaging network remain under-exploited by financial institutions despite the many challenges they face:

  • To be able to analyze their customers’ and partners’ flows and thereby develop more targeted and adapted offers
  • Obtain statistics, reports, and data extraction over prolonged periods of time
  • Enable compliance teams to respond to regulators’ requests and test scenarios for circumventing compliance rules

However, there are a number of potential obstacles to this approach:

  • Data structure, particularly in the context of MT ISO 15022
  • The sheer volume of daily data flows, numbering in the millions of messages sent and received
  • Data confidentiality in accordance with national regulations
